Wood is currently recruiting for a Document Controller with extensive experience in the mining and minerals industry to start in the Johannesburg office for 3 - 4 months and then mobilize to site in Mauritania.
Follow all Company Procedures and Practices
Print and copy of drawings and documents. General filing as per Document Control
Audit of holdings
Data entry of Design and Vendor documentation and other required information
Prepare Transmittals / Work packs
Advise the Lead Document Controller or Project Controls Manager of any problems
Refer to the Lead Document Controller or Project Controls Manager any specifically requested project requirements
Provide support and supervision to satellite site (mine site)
French speaking
At least 5 years’ experience
Proficiency using SharePoint
Knowledge of Convero would be desirable
Experience working on site in remote African locations
